Marty Leonard Community Chapel
Frymire's expertise is further exemplified by the
awarding of specialty or extremely complex projects.
Just such a project is the Marty Leonard Community
Chapel on the Lena Pope Home Campus. This unique
structure is a complex marriage of wood, brick, glass
and metal. The structure itself forms architectural
appeal with its cross bracing micro-lam beams and
massive soaring brick columns. After extensive plan review,
much of the chapel was built on the ground and lifted
into place. The basic wall system and roof rafter
system were prefabricated on site. Due to the intricacy in
detailing, a complete millwork shop was installed on site.
This and using our own carpenters allowed us to maintain strict
quality control.
Delaney Vineyards
Constructed to duplicate an authentic French Vineyard. Its
impressive heavy timber construction featuring 25' x 65'
trusses weighing approximately 8,000 lbs. each, were
fabricated and constructed by Frymire's own carpentry
crew. The roof is quarried slate from Spain and all gutters,
flashing and downspouts are copper.
